Week 7

Kid Pix Delux is something that my past students have really enjoyed using and have a lot of fun with. After looking at Integrating Kid Pix website, I have realized there are MANY ways to use this in the classroom. I also like the Fantasy Map activity outlined on Atomic Learning.

Wordle is a lot of fun. I decided to create a wordle using the Preamble text. I tried many different texts, but I really like this one.



Terra Clues is probably my favorite out of all the tools from this week. I found a really good TerraHunt over Civil War battlefields. It is one that I may possibly use with my students.

At my school, we are responsible for planning lesson in the computer lab for our students. We do not have anyone in the lab planning for us. We have 3 labs and 2 mobile labs. I have utilized the mobile labs several times and really enjoy bringing them into my classroom. I found all of these sites to be useful and plan on sharing them with my department.

    Creative way to use Wordle. Helped me think of some creative ways to use it in lessons.

    I love Wordle too! I had the students in 3rd and 4th use it with the Bluebonnet books. It is a great way for them to put their learning into concise format.
